I have rendered a provisional translation of that Tablet for those who may have a lingering doubt as seen below:
HE IS THE EVER-LIVING
The Tree of Divine Mystery( Shajariyyih `Amaa-1) is astir, and the Tree of Faithfulness (Sidriyyih Wafa-2) is joyous, and the Mother-Tree of Eternity ( Duhiyyih Baqa-3) is firmly planted in the soil of Oneness; so that a Luminous Leaf from the branches of attainment, be conjoined with a Leaf from the twigs of unity, that perchance from the consorting of these twain Lordly Realities and the communion of these two pure and Eternal entities, an outcome (Natijeh-4) of the Third Glorifying Entity ( Fa Azzazna bi Thalith-5--denotes Baha’u’llah) may be manifested in the realm of manifestation; fine( wa’as-salam).[Baha’u’llah : Ad`iyyih-i Hadhratih Mahbub p. 298-299]
hosseinhossein ashchinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1538379590376087070.post-11704071317324594792010-04-27T12:29:06.422-04:002010-04-27T12:29:06.422-04:00A provisional translation by Hossein Ashchi of a t...A provisional translation by Hossein Ashchi of a tablet by Bahaullah on the hereditary nature of the Institution of Guardianshp

Notes: 1. Shajarih =Tree Shajariyyih=Tree of ; Amaa=clouds (of mercy) 2. Sidrih= Bush, (as in desert brush i.e. Chaparrals); Sidriyyih=Bush of Wafa=Faithfulness, Fidelity 3. Duhih=Mother Tree, the tree with a very large canopy; Duhiyyih=Mother Tree of Baqa=Eternal or Eternity 4. Natijeh= The word is Arabic and in the Arabic usage this word means an outcome or a Result; As the Tablet is in Persian the meaning assigned to this word in its Farsi usage, besides meaning a result or outcome, has another meaning that is very specific and of common usage which is: great grand child. According to the Persian context this grandchild is Shoghi Effendi that is in keeping with Abdu’l-Baha’s explanation of the primogenitor rule which was prevalent for the succession of the Jewish prophets. 5. Fa Azzazna hu bi Thalith= meaning We Glorified, or strengthened it, [the religion of God] with a Third; In a Tablet [of a different context and circumstances] revealed in Baghdad, Bahaullah says that this phrase refers to Himself, as being that third Entity with which the Faith of God was strengthened, fortified, glorified, or endeared; Az Zazzna has the first plural subject pronoun and the verb root of TA’ZIZ cherishing or strengthening, or endearing, while the closely related to the masculine adjective, which is often used as a noun, AZIZ as the name given to Sultan Abdu’l-Aziz [servant of the Almighty]—when ordinary folk are given that name the person is rarely called by the full name but rather by AZIZ only—an adjective transformed into a proper name. The AZIZ alone means mighty, cherished or endeared, all of which, are attributes of God. In relation to the first and second entities implied above in the Baghdad context, these refer to the Bab and Quddus, respectively and after their martyrdom it was Bahaullah who is the third holy being Who resuscitated the faith of God; this very verse was revealed in the Quran.

hosseinHossein Ashchinoreply@blogger.com
